![]() ![]() A wealthy citizenry with high standards of living by the end of the game.An economically prosperous nation that ushered in the Sordish recovery and saw rebounds in infrastructure and production levels.A militarily successful Sordland, which stood up to Rumberg, succeeded on the battlefield and conquered some new northern territory for the nation. This strategy had multiple advantages, including being able to create: I decided to create a guide from my own experience which helps people to effectively create as close to a "blessed" Sollist Sordland as possible. The natural problem I've had with this route, however, is that you either lose the war, fail to make significant improvements to your nation, fail to pass the constitution or go down in history as a corrupt despot due to that one leak that you can't seem to prevent. Then perhaps, like myself, you try out the despot route, trying to create a self-serving Sollist dictatorship, a neutral power in the middle of the cold war which can stand on its own two feet and crush any nation which wishes to challenge its status on the international stage. Maybe you want to go down the path of extreme Socialism/Capitalism and join a side in the pseudo-cold war that the game presents with the ATO and the CSP. Maybe you want to go democratic, trying to reform Sordland into a true democracy with peace, bread and justice for all. So, you've Suzerain for the first time and go into your first game. For the sections which purely look at how to pass a dictatorial constitution, how to win the war against Rumberg both with allies and solo and the conclusion/what alterations to make for an autocratic/old guard playthrough, look for the "part 2" post under the headings "The Constitution", "The War", "The Winning Strategy" and "Conclusion". Whilst I didn't intend this guide to be so in-depth at first, it has evolved to basically describe every decision I made in this game of Suzerain. you need one of these 3 things, otherwise you won't be able to pass the court.Quick beginning clarification. if you have the oligarchs on your side, they will bribe one judge to vote for you. if you formed the acp and set it to investigate old guard, this will pressure one judge to vote for you. If you passed the assembly with 226 votes, this will pressure one judge to vote for you. you need to convince edmonds and heron, but both of them only bring 5 votes so that is not enough, you need 1 more. Getting through court on a dictator path is harder than the reformist path, since you won't have the 3 reformist judges on your side. but i don't think they will support you if you signed both of the racist bills, even if you are removing the MoH. If you're not planning on bringing soll to trial, i'd not touch MoH law (this is what conservatives want) or make it so every president recieves it (everybody dislikes this, so only do it for roleplay reasons), not touch court immunity (makes negotation with edmonds easier), and make president impeachable by court and assembly (again, makes negotation with edmonds easier).Īlthough you can still remove the MoH law to get the independents support, even if you don't plan to bring soll to trial. you will need to give some ground on at least one issue: either confidence vote for ministers, judges have immunity, president impeachable by court and assembly, or decrees not strengthened. Gloria won't accept you going full dictator, and you can't bribe her. You can just bribe albin, he will support whatever you want. they don't really care for what kind of constitution you are making, they will support you as long as you commit a gamer moment or two. he will make some demands of you, but if you're going for a nationalist run he will ask you to do things that you would do anyways. You can not partner with the pfjp on a dictator path, you will instead negotiate with the leader of the nfp, kesaro kibener. Oligarchs are not not an absolute requirement (though they still help), especially if you're going to be nationalist so you're going to have the nfp on your side.
